I joined Google's Devices and Services Marketing team as a creative lead in October 2018. I've been primarily responsible for new product launch pages, which means that I've been leading a team to tell product stories on the site. That covers developing compelling page layouts and interactions, defining our design system, copywriting, lifestyle and product photoshoots, product renders, then aligning stakeholders to get the work approved and launched on time and with as few bugs as possible. Since I started I've launched over 20 pages on GoogleStore.com, I've reset the look of our lifestyle photography and introduced new processes for diversity and inclusion, developed new interactions and templates that drive engagement and conversion, brought the site into AAA compliance, moved the team to a mobile first design process, and defined other processes that improved the quality of the team's output and generated efficiencies that reduced marketing's creative overhead.
